JobHunter is an AI-powered job matching platform built for professionals in the UAE. We can be reached at matches@jobhunter.ae.

We collect only what is necessary to match you with the right opportunities:

• Email address — to create your account and send your job matches
• Phone number — for account verification and security
• Gender — to filter roles where eligibility criteria apply
• CV text — the professional history you provide, used solely to score job matches and generate tailored documents
• Target job titles — up to 5 roles you are actively searching for
• Usage data — anonymised analytics about how the platform is used, to improve the service

We do not collect payment information, passport or ID numbers, or any sensitive personal data beyond the above.

Your data is used exclusively for your benefit:

• Matching relevant UAE job opportunities to your profile using AI
• Delivering your personalised job match digest by email
• Generating tailored CVs and cover letters when you request them
• Maintaining and improving the platform

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not profile you for any purpose other than job matching. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you without human oversight.

Your CV and job preferences are processed by AI to generate match scores and personalised documents. This processing is performed on secure, encrypted infrastructure. Your CV text is used only for the duration of generating your results and is not retained by AI processing systems beyond that request.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data — ever.

We work with a small number of trusted technology providers to operate the platform: secure cloud database infrastructure, AI processing services, and email delivery. Each provider operates under strict data processing agreements and accesses only what is necessary to perform their specific function.

We will disclose data only if required to do so by applicable UAE law or a valid legal order.

We take security seriously:

• All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols
• Access controls ensure only you can read your personal records
• Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud platforms with continuous security monitoring
• We conduct regular reviews of our security practices

No system is completely immune to risk. In the unlikely event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly and take immediate remedial action.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time. Upon request we will permanently delete all your personal data within 7 days. Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate statistics may be retained to improve the service.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a complete copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — update any inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Deletion — request permanent removal of your account and all associated data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, portable format

We use Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. This involves standard analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

JobHunter is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
